Bethune-Cookman University was founded in 1904 by Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune as the Daytona Literary and Industrial Training School for Negro Girls. Florida Institute of Technology
College of Business
Florida Institute of Technology was founded in 1958 as an academic training center for individuals in the space industry. It is a private institution located in Melbourne along Florida’s Space Coast near the Kennedy Space Center. The university’s College of Engineering contains approximately half of its enrolled 3,586 undergraduate students. In keeping with the university’s focus on science and engineering, the College of Business offers two undergraduate degree choices in accounting, a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts.
