Southwest Baptist University encourages critical thinking in a faith-based curriculum that prepare students to be ethical practitioners in their field of study. Accounting

Through the bachelor’s in accounting degree program in Missouri offered at Southwest Baptist University, students are prepared for a wide range of career opportunities. The John Cook School of Business has a long history of creating business leaders as the oldest business school west of the Mississippi. The Department of Economics and Finance and the School of Accountancy offers dynamic programs designed to prepare students for successful careers in the fields of finance, economics and accounting. Students are able to engage with faculty members and access the Bloomberg Professional Service, a platform for news data, tools and research used for investment purposes. Students are also able to gain leadership experience through student organizations that allow them to network with business professionals in the surrounding area.

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree

The University of Central Missouri offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a concentration in accounting. The bachelor’s in accounting degree program is only one of 183 in the country accredited by the AACSB. Students gain professional knowledge of accounting as well as the skills that form the foundation for a career in financial management. The online Bachelor of Science in Business Administration provides students who need a flexible schedule in order to achieve their higher education goals. 150-Hour Program – BSAcc/MAcc degree

The Robert J. Trulaske, Sr., College of Business offers a bachelor’s degree in accounting in Missouri that adds an additional 30-credit hour necessary to sit for the CPA examination. Students will hold a bachelor’s degree as well as a master’s degree in accounting. The curriculum provides students with a strong technical accounting background as well as a strong business background. Students take a full course of study at the undergraduate level as well as a full accounting curriculum at the master’s level, allowing them to complete both degrees in less time.
